Emitex, Simatex and Confemaq will gather again the Argentine textile industry in May 2022

25 Oct 2021

The three events are getting ready to receive the most important manufacturers of yarns and fabrics, manufacturers of textile machinery for garments and suppliers of services and supplies. From May 31 to June 2, 2022, Emitex and Confemaq will take place, while Simatex will begin a day before: from May 30 to June 2, all of them in Costa Salguero Center.

The most important event of the Argentine textile industry comes back with a new edition full of proposals and experiences for each sector. Emitex, the International Trade Fair of Suppliers for the Garment Industry; Simatex, the International Trade Fair of Textile Machinery; and Confemaq, the International Trade Fair of Garment Machinery will be carried out simultaneously in Costa Salguero Center summoning the whole value chain of the industry.

The three events expect to gather 11,000 business professionals and professionals to offer them the latest news of the market, trends, training and professional updating.

On their part, the organizers launched the commercialization with great expectations. It is expected that manufacturers visit the event to find suppliers with whom they can develop their collections for an increasingly demanding market. “The exhibitions will be carried out in an excellent moment of the industry for closing business. Meeting again after 4 years in such an event mobilizes the whole industry. We all expect to gather face to face once again in a unique business environment. Knowing the new technological developments and the news in terms of products and services is vital for the growth and improvement of quality”, says Andrea Lippi, Project Manager of #ESC (Emitex, Simatex and Confemaq). And she adds: “the market is reactivating and with this event we wish to strengthen the Argentine textile industry in all its value chain. The success of the exhibitions is guaranteed".

Emitex, Simatex and Confemaq are reference textile exhibitions in our region and set world trends, and in turn they advocate fashion as an influential sector to deal with the most urgent problems of the world. In this sense and in line with the commitment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) that Messe Frankfurt Texpertise Network has, #ESC 2022 will have sustainability as one of its main subjects.

For this reason, it will have a diffusion space and information of leading change companies that work on the textile industry sustainability. The subject will also be dealt with from academic and business perspectives through the several lectures given by exhibitors and experts. With this initiative, the event seeks to promote better practices in textile production, encouraging and spreading companies and brands that wish to communicate their sustainable potential.

Emitex and Confemaq will take place from May 31 to June 2, while Simatex will begin a day before: from May 30 to June 2, all of them in Costa Salguero Center.
